Keerthy Suresh’s ‘Sathyavan Savithiri’ promises a gripping courtroom drama
The makers of Sathyavan Savithiri have officially announced that the film will hit theatres on July 24. The project has already generated interest among moviegoers due to its courtroom backdrop and the unusual on-screen pairing of Keerthy Suresh and filmmaker-actor Mysskin.
Directed by newcomer Praveen S. Vijay, the film features both Keerthy and Mysskin in lawyer roles. While the creators have remained tight-lipped about the plot, the story is expected to revolve around themes of justice, personal struggles and emotional conflict.
According to information shared by the production team, Keerthy plays an energetic and optimistic woman whose life takes an unexpected turn when she becomes involved in a crucial legal battle. Despite carrying emotional scars from her past, her determination to pursue the case reportedly changes the course of her future.
Speaking earlier about the film, director Praveen stated that the narrative draws inspiration from the tradition of classic courtroom dramas, blending legal proceedings with deeply personal journeys.
The supporting cast includes Charukesh, Bala Saravanan, Shilpa Manjunath, Madhusudhanan, R. Sundararajan, Brigida, Mala Parvathi and A. Venkatesh.
The film is produced by Vedikkaranpatti S. Sakthivel under the Drumsticks Productions banner, with Vaishnavi Vivekchandar and Vinoth C.J. serving as co-producers. Zee Studios is also associated with the project. On the technical front, Arul Vincent handles cinematography, Sam C.S. has composed the music, and editing is by G.K. Prasanna.
