Kayadu Lohar names her favourite Tamil hero, and it is Dhanush
Kayadu Lohar has revealed that Dhanush is her favourite actor in Tamil cinema.
During a recent social media interaction with fans, the actor was asked to name her favourite Tamil hero. She immediately chose Dhanush and enthusiastically repeated his name, making it clear that he was her sole choice.
Kayadu has not yet appeared alongside Dhanush in a film. Reports had earlier suggested that she was considered for a role in his recently released film Kara but could not take it up because of scheduling issues.
The actor has worked across Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil cinema. Her Tamil breakthrough came with Dragon, in which she starred alongside Pradeep Ranganathan. She later appeared in Idhayam Murali with Atharvaa.
She also gained attention for her appearance in the song Pavazha Malli with composer Sai Abhyankkar.
Kayadu currently has several projects in different stages. These include The Paradise with Nani, Thaaram with Nivin Pauly, the tentatively titled Suriya 48 and Manjanathi, directed by Mari Selvaraj.
Her Malayalam film I’m Game, starring Dulquer Salmaan and directed by Nahas Hidhayath of RDX fame, is set to release on September 3 after being moved from the Onam release schedule.
She will also be seen in Immortal with GV Prakash, which has been pushed to September 4 from its earlier July release window.
In I’m Game, Kayadu appears to play a mental health counsellor and the love interest of Dulquer Salmaan’s character, although the filmmakers have not yet disclosed the complete details of her role.
