Katchikaran movie review

Story:

Katchikaaran is the story of the cadre of a political party. A party cadre is very loyal to his leader and works very hard for the success of the party.

He does not care about anything else including his personal life.
However, when the same cadre is affected by the actions of the same leaders he rises against him and questions him. What happens next forms the rest of the story.
Analysis:
Director P Ayyappan has tried to change the image people have about politicians. There are bold dialogues which speak about today’s political scenario.
A more strong screenplay would have made the movie all the more interesting.
Saravanan plays the role of the party cadre who loses everything because of his loyalty to the party. Sarvanan fits the role well and delivers a natural performance.
The innocence in his face makes the character all the more believable. Dorothy as his wife has done her part well and has expressed the difficulties that the wife of a common party undergoes.
Siva Senapathy as the political leader has delivered what was expected from him.
Appukutty as his assistant has also done his part. Madhan Kumar’s Camerawork is impressive. C M Mahendran’s music adds more strength to the movie.
