Karthi wraps shooting for Ponniyin Selvan
Karthi took to Twitter to announce that he has wrapped up his portions in director Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan.
He announced the same in a funny way by tagging his co-stars Trisha and Jayam Ravi on his Twitter post.
He addressed them as princess and prince, according to their characters in Ponniyin Selvan. The film will be made in two parts.
Ponniyin Selvan is based on the Tamil literary novel of the same name, written by Kalki Krishnamoorthy.
The period drama is jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies. The ensemble cast includes Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Sarathkumar, Rahman, and Aishwarya Lekshmi in lead roles.
