Kalyani Priyadarshan to headline first solo Tamil thriller
Actress Kalyani Priyadarshan, fresh off the success of the Malayalam blockbuster Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, is all set to make her mark in the Tamil industry by signing her first feature film as the primary solo lead.
The untitled project is slated to be a gripping drama thriller helmed by debutant director Thiraviyam SN.
The filmmaker, Thiraviyam SN, describes the project as a “drama thriller with a slight black humour touch.” Kalyani will portray the character of Kalki, a relatable lower middle-class girl.
The film is backed by producers SR Prakash Babu, SR Prabu, P Gopinath and Thangaprabaharan R Music will be composed by Justin Prabhakaran.
On the technical front, Gokul Benoy serves as the cinematographer, Aral R Thangam takes charge as editor, and Mayapandi joins as production designer. Cast and crew members attended today’s ceremony as the team prepared to begin its shoot schedule.
