The prestigious Fifteenth Kalasagar Awards, constitued in fond memory of legendary kathakali maestro Kakamandalam Krishnankutty Poduval, recognizing remarkable contributions in the realm of traditional performing arts, have been unveiled for the year 2024. These awards, esteemed in the domain of Kathakali, Vesham, Music, Chenda, Maddalam, Chutty, Bharathanatyam, Mohiniyattom, Kuchipudi, Ottenthullal, Chakyarkoothu, Koodiyattom, Thayambaka, and Panchavadyam, specifically applaud the excellence in various facets of the performing arts.
