1920 ஆம் ஆண்டு மதுரைக்கு அருகில் உள்ள பெருங்காமநல்லூரில் ஆங்கிலேயரின் குற்ற இனச் சட்டத்திற்கு எதிராகப் போராடி பதினாறு பேர் உயிர் தியாகம் செய்தனர். அந்த சம்பவத்தை மையமாகக் கொண்டு கபிலன்வைரமுத்து எழுதி 2022 ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளிவந்த ஆகோள் என்ற நாவல் தற்போது ஆங்கிலத்தில் வெளியாகியிருக்கிறது. பிரபல பதிப்பகமான ரூபா நிறுவனம் இந்த நூலைப் பதிப்பித்திருக்கிறார்கள். தற்காலத்தின் மெய்நிகர் தொழில்நுட்பம், சைபர் செக்யூரிட்டி மற்றும் பெருந்தரவு கொள்ளை ஆகியவைகளைக் களமாகக் கொண்ட நாவலில் நூறு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் நிகழ்ந்த பெருங்காமநல்லூர் போராட்டம் முழுமையாகப் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
