Kaantha: Trailer release date announced for Dulquer Salmaan’s period drama

The makers of Kaantha, the much-awaited period drama starring Dulquer Salmaan, have officially announced that the film’s trailer will be unveiled on November 6, 2025.

The announcement comes just days ahead of the film’s theatrical release on November 14, heightening excitement among fans and industry watchers alike.

Directed by Selvamani Selvaraj and jointly produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films and Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media, Kaantha is set in the 1950s and is billed as an emotionally charged story of ambition, transformation, and redemption. The film promises to blend vintage charm with grand production design, showcasing the evolution of cinema and stardom during India’s post-independence era.

The trailer launch is expected to give audiences their first full glimpse into the film’s tone and scale, following months of anticipation fueled by intriguing first-look posters and behind-the-scenes glimpses.

With cinematography by Dani Sanchez-Lopez and music by Jhanu Chanthar, the visuals and score are expected to play a major role in bringing the period setting to life.
