A game show with a difference

Now Jaya TV is coming out with Bharatanatyam game show ‘THAKA DHIMI THAKA JANU ‘ – with a difference,  with newer concepts and newer rounds. 

The preliminary episodes will be telecast from July 31st, 2022

Every season of 26 episodes will have preliminary round, quarter finals, Semi Finals and the Finals and the Season -2 winner will be selected. In the preliminary episodes the dancers  will compete in 3 Rounds 

The first Round Nrythym  will challenge the Bharatham skills of the contestants 

The second round –  Film , will be a test for their Abhinaya or expressional skills to a popular evergreen film song 

The third Round would be Rapid Fire Round where the dancers are given a 30 seconds challenge. Within that short span of time they have to depict an idea or theme to instrumental music

In addition there is a new segment for audience participation called AADA VARALAM in which the host Nandini will try Bharatham moves to a very popular

Recent film song   This will inspire the youth to dance along with her

THAKA DHIMI THAKA JANU  Season 2 will be telecast every Sunday morning 8.30 a.m.,The show will be anchored by Dancer Nandini Jayakumar ,Concept and Direction : Kalaimamni Dr.Radhika Shurajit.
