The announcement comes amid mounting excitement for what is being described as Vijay’s final big-screen appearance before stepping into a full-fledged political journey.
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker H. Vinoth, Jana Nayagan is billed as a political action drama that mirrors Vijay’s off-screen evolution as a socially conscious leader.
The film features Pooja Hegde as the leading lady and Bollywood actor Bobby Deol as the antagonist, with music by Anirudh Ravichander — a combination that has consistently delivered chart-topping hits in previous Vijay blockbusters such as Kaththi, Master and Leo.
