Jama – Actor-Director Pari Elavazhagan Press Release
A director will win the hearts of cinephiles hands down when there the intention is pure and clear. When such a creator conceptualizes and materializes a content-driven film, positive talks pop up even before the film’s release. Such is the curious case of Director-actor Pari Elavazhagan’s ‘Jama’. With the film hitting screens on August 2, 2024, the early preview shows have spread positive talks about the film.
Director-Actor Pari Elavazhagan says, “When I decided to pen down the script of ‘Jama’, I wanted to offer a Tour-like experience to the audience, where they can delve into the world they never witnessed before. I wanted to convey the joy, emotions, pain, and life of these dedicated artistes, who aren’t bothered about the materialistic and monetary gains but have dedicated their entire lives to express their artistic explorations. The role I have played is nothing but a resonance of many such Theru Koothu artists, who are so dedicated to their professional arena to achieve perfection, which sometimes creates an adverse effect in their personal lives. I don’t want to reveal more about the film but am sure, the audience will carry back home, the emotional experiences of Jama while stepping out of the theaters. My special thanks to the Creator of Music! Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja for elevating the emotions and value of Jama.”
Even before the special screening of this film, the riveting visual promo and the heart-touching songs by Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja created groovy expectations for the film.
