Interesting information about Jailer 2
Rajinikanth scored a phenomenal blockbuster with the action drama Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.
The movie collected more than 600 crores gross at the worldwide box office. Nelson has been working on Jailer’s sequel for the past few months.
According to a recent report, Nelson is considering “Hukum” as the sequel’s title. The Hukum song from Jailer is a massive chartbuster, and ever since its release, the word “Hukum” has become very popular. Hence, Nelson feels it would be appropriate to name the sequel with this catchy word.
The report further said that the makers also considered Jailer 2 as the title, but the majority of the team felt that Hukum would be the right choice.
Further, it was mentioned that the director had locked the first draft and that the pre-production works would commence in June 2024.
Once Rajinikanth is done with Thalaivar171, he will start working on the Jailer sequel. The sequel will most probably go on floors either by the end of 2024 or at the beginning of 2025.
