Indian 2: Kamal Haasan reveals playing additional character apart from Senapathy
Kamal Haasan recently revealed in a conversation that he will not only be reprising his role as Senapathy in the film but will also be playing Senapathy’s father.
Kamal Haasan said, “I am also playing Senapathy’s father, who is not there this time and you have to wait. That is the hook for Indian 3. Now you will understand why I took up Indian 2 because I was waiting for the dessert and I have to go through the main course.”
Indian 2 is directed by Shankar and also stars Siddharth, SJ Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, Nedumudi Venu, Vivek, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, Guru Somasundaram, Delhi Ganesh, Jayaprakash, Manobala, Vennela Kishore and Deepa Shankar, among others.
Anirudh Ravichander has replaced AR Rahman (who composed the music for Indian) to score music for the upcoming installment. Indian 2 is backed by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies.
