India reports 11,903 fresh coronavirus cases

India reported 11,903 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, which was 14% higher than yesterday. The country also witnessed 311 Covid-related deaths in the period.

At least 14,159 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. The total number of people who have recovered is 3,36,97,740.

The recovery rate is currently at 98.22 per cent, the highest since March 2020.

The daily rise in new coronavirus infections has been below 20,000 for 26 straight days and less than 50,000 daily new cases have been reported for 129 consecutive days now.

Daily positivity rate of 1.11 per cent is less than 2 per cent for the last 30 days.

In the ongoing COVID-19 vaccination drive, 107.29 crore vaccine doses have been administered.
