Ilaiyaraaja departs for London, promises grand musical feast
Music maestro Ilaiyaraaja has assured fans that his upcoming symphony performance in London on March 8 will be a spectacular musical feast. Speaking to reporters at Chennai Airport before departing for London, he expressed confidence that the event would be a historic celebration of music.
“We are set to unveil a brand-new symphony in collaboration with one of the world’s finest orchestras. I have no doubt that this will be a grand musical treat for all music lovers,” Ilaiyaraaja said.
He emphasized that this event is not just his personal achievement but a moment of national pride for India. “This is the pride of our country, just like ‘Incredible India’. I am Incredible Ilaiyaraaja!” he remarked.
When reporters posed additional questions, Ilaiyaraaja responded firmly, saying, “Please do not ask unnecessary questions. I focus only on my music. You are all part of my journey, and I am taking your pride with me to London.” He concluded by wishing everyone well and praying for divine blessings for all.
