G.V. Prakash And Saindhavi officially divorced now
Music composer G.V. Prakash Kumar and playback singer Saindhavi have officially finalized their divorce, ending their 12-year marriage.
The Chennai Family Welfare Court granted the dissolution on September 30, 2025, following several months of proceedings and a mandatory six-month reconciliation period.
The couple, who began their relationship during their school days, married in 2013 and welcomed a daughter, Anvi, in 2020. They announced their separation in May 2024, citing mutual respect and the desire for personal growth. Despite their separation, they have maintained a professional relationship, notably performing together at a December 2024 concert.
As part of the divorce settlement, Saindhavi has been granted custody of their daughter, with both parents agreeing to co-parent amicably.
Both G.V. Prakash and Saindhavi continue to be active in the music industry, focusing on their individual careers.
