First Look & Teaser of Supernatural Thriller “The Black Bible (22:18)” Unveiled !!

A new wave of horror storytelling is sweeping through Tamil cinema, and at its forefront stands The Black Bible (Subtitled: 22:18), a supernatural thriller that promises a chillingly fresh take on the genre. Steering clear of the overused “ghost-meets-revenge” template, debut director Manikandan Ramalingam brings forth a tale steeped in mystery, folklore, and fear.

The film features FJ who gained colossal response for his spellbinding performance in Suzhal – The Vortex series is playing the lead role. Chandini Tamilarasan, Sreeja Ravi, Mona Bedra, and Ayraa Palak are the others in the star-cast. The first look and teaser have been officially released, and are already generating phenomenal buzz among cinephiles and horror enthusiasts alike.

Set in the shadowy village of Asthinapuram, nestled along the Tamil Nadu–Kerala border, the story revolves around Alisha and her mother, two women desperate to escape the clutches of a land long cursed by colonial-era witchcraft and black magic. But as they attempt to flee, they find themselves spiraling into a deeper sinister, and more dangerous than they ever imagined. With only Alisha’s boyfriend standing by them, the trio must confront the horrors that dwell in silence… and the curse that refuses to be outrun.

The Black Bible is written and directed by Manikandan Ramalingam,  and is produced by EPS Pictures, with Bala G Ramasamy handling cinematography and music composed by Aswin Krishna.

The Production House will be soon making official announcements on film’s trailer, audio and worldwide theatrical release dates.
