“Lady Superstar Samantha Returns with Power and Mystery.”

After a long break, actress Samantha returns to the big screen with Engal Thangam, an engaging psychological thriller blended with an emotional revenge drama. The film presents an intriguing story packed with mystery, powerful emotions, and thrilling moments that are expected to keep audiences invested throughout.

The story revolves around Swarna (Samantha), a simple middle-class woman who enjoys a happy life with her husband Anirudh (Diganth) and family. Their love story blossoms beautifully, and despite facing some resistance from her father-in-law, Swarna is warmly welcomed by her mother-in-law. As she tries to become the ideal daughter-in-law, unforeseen circumstances turn her peaceful life upside down. A shocking incident changes everything, pushing her into a journey filled with emotional struggles and determination.

While the first half unfolds as a touching family drama, the narrative takes an exciting turn after the interval. Swarna transforms from a quiet and reserved woman into someone who bravely stands against those who shattered her life.
