Duniya Vijay is antagonist in Nayanthara’s Mookuthi Amman 2
Duniya Vijay will now make his Kollywood debut, having been roped in to be a part of Sundar C’s Mookuthi Amman 2, which has Nayanthara in the title role.
The muhurtha of the film was held in Chennai on March 6, during which Vijay’s casting was announced, along with that of Regina Cassandra, Yogi Babu, Abhinaya, Ineya, Garuda Raam, Singampuli, Vichu Vishwanath, Ajay Ghosh, and Myna Nandhini, among others.
Vijay took to social media to announce his Kollywood debut and thanked Sundar C for the opportunity.
The film’s music is by Hip Hop Tamizha Adhi, with Gopi Amarnath serving as cinematographer.
The fantasy comedy Mookuthi Amman released in 2020 and had a direct-to-OTT outing. Barring Nayanthara, no other cast member from the original is being repeated.
