“Dude” Thanksgiving Meet

Mythri Movie Makers’ ‘Dude’, written and directed by Keerthiswaran, featuring Pradeep Ranganathan, Mamitha Baiju, Sarath Kumar, Rohini among others in the star-cast had its theatrical release for festive occasion of Diwali. With the film soaring high with commercial blockbuster success, the entire team gathered to thank press and media fraternity for their unconditional support.

The line in the climax about honour killing was inspired by the impact caused by Kavin’s honour killing case, which deeply moved me. Mamitha is an actress who instantly grasps a scene even before I finish explaining it. I’ve admired Sarath Kumar sir since my childhood, especially his comic performances, and it was a joy to direct him. My heartfelt thanks to Rohini ma’am for gracefully accepting and portraying the mother’s role. My gratitude also goes out to every actor and technician who contributed to this film.
