DoTE releases TNEA rank list for 2025

The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) in Tamil Nadu today, June 27, released the TNEA 2025 rank list.

Candidates who have registered for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) counselling and completed the certificate verification process can check their ranks on the official website–tneaonline.org.

Students can check the rank list by logging into the system or by viewing the PDF file uploaded on the homepage. As shared on the file, 8,657 are ineligible to take admission.

The rank list determines the order in which students will be called for engineering seat counselling.

After the rank list is published, a grievance redressal window will be open from June 28 to July 2, allowing students to raise objections or clarify doubts regarding their rankings.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on the rank list to participate in the counselling process. The counselling process will be conducted in an online mode. During the counselling, the candidates have to select their preferred choices of colleges and courses.

The counselling round consists of four stages: choice filling, allotment, confirmation of allotment and reporting to the college and payment of fees depending upon their confirmation. The counselling for special reservation categories, viz eminent sports persons, differently abled and wards of ex-servicemen, will be conducted first in online mode. This will be done between July 7 and 8.

The general counselling, vocational counselling and 7.5 per cent seats on a preferential basis to the students who have studied from 6 to 12 in state government schools will be conducted simultaneously online.
