DMDK to hold district secretaries’ meeting on May 31
The Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) will convene a meeting of its district secretaries on May 31, party general secretary Premalatha Vijayakant announced on Thursday.
The meeting, to be chaired by Premalatha Vijayakant, is scheduled to take place at 10 am at the party headquarters, Captain Alayam, located in Koyambedu, Chennai. Key organisational matters and political strategies are expected to be discussed during the session.
The consultation assumes significance as the party is working to strengthen its organisational structure and gear up for the upcoming local body elections in Tamil Nadu. With political activities intensifying across parties, the meeting is likely to focus on mobilising cadre and reviewing ground-level preparedness.
In an official statement, the DMDK leadership has urged all district secretaries to attend the important consultative meeting without fail, underlining its importance in shaping the party’s future course of action.
