Director Ashwath Marimuthu says Rajinikanth’s Dharman is his biggest challenge
Director Ashwath Marimuthu says working on Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Dharman has been both exciting and intimidating.
Speaking in a recent interview, the filmmaker described the project as the biggest responsibility of his career and admitted that thinking about its scale makes him nervous. To avoid unnecessary pressure, he said he prefers to focus on the filmmaking process and enjoy collaborating with Rajinikanth.
Ashwath added that audiences can expect a film combining Rajinikanth’s trademark screen presence with his own storytelling style.
Produced by Kamal Haasan, Dharman features Simran and Raashii Khanna in important roles, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Production is currently underway, and the film is expected to release in 2027.
