Countdown for Coolie begins with a special glimpse
Rajinikanth’s Coolie is one of the most expected films of the year. Featuring a stellar ensemble cast, Coolie is written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and marks his first time working with Rajinikanth.
Rajinikanth will be seen in the action thriller which also stars actors from various industries.
With the film scheduled to release on August 14, and only 100 days left for the release, the makers marked the countdown interesting by releasing a special glimpse.
Without revealing the faces, each of the prominent star cast was shown, with the glimpse ending with a shot of Rajinikanth.
So far, the makers of Coolie have remained guarded about the film’s plot. But knowing about Lokesh, Coolie is expected to be high on action and heroism, serving as treat to Rajinikanth fans.
Coolie also stars Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Upendra, Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan and others, with PK actor Aamir Khan set to make a cameo appearance. Pooja Hegde will dance for a number.
The film is produced by Sun Pictures and has music by Anirudh Ravichander.
