Chief Minister M K Stalin to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Chief Minister M K Stalin, who reached New Delhi from Coimbatore on Monday night, has sought an appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday to seek funds for flood mitigation in the four districts that were badly hit by Cyclone Michuang and the four southern districts affected by unprecedented rains.

While the meeting with the Prime Minister was not confirmed till late Monday evening, Stalin will be taking part in the INDIA coalition’s conclave at the national capital on Tuesday.

The leaders of the various parties under the INDIA coalition are expected to take crucial decisions at their conclave as they are meeting for the first time after the national opposition’s debacle in the elections to a slew of State Assemblies and with just a few months left for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
