Chief Minister M K Stalin hospitalised

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin was admitted to Apollo Hospitals, Greams Road, in Chennai today after experiencing mild giddiness during his routine morning walk.

According to a medical bulletin issued by the hospital, signed by Dr. Anil B.G., Director of Medical Services, the Chief Minister has been admitted for evaluation of his symptoms and is undergoing necessary diagnostic tests.

Following the admission, Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, who is also the Chief Minister’s son, was reported to be at the hospital.

While the hospital bulletin indicates the admission is for evaluation and tests, some reports suggest doctors have advised Chief Minister Stalin to rest for two days.

This could lead to the postponement of his scheduled events for July 22 and 23, including a planned visit to Coimbatore and Tiruppur districts.
