Bigg Boss winner Muthukumaran faces allegations from influencer over relationship
Muthukumaran Jegatheesan, winner of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8, has become the subject of online discussion following allegations made by social media influencer Wahidha Begum about their personal relationship.
In a video posted on Instagram, Wahidha alleged that the relationship ended abruptly and claimed that the emotional distress surrounding the episode led her to attempt suicide. The video was later removed from her account but continued circulating on social media. She also shared an Instagram Story indicating that she was receiving hospital care.
According to Wahidha’s account, she met Muthukumaran at Kathipara on October 4. She alleged that he later took her to his home, describing the incident as a form of what she called a “cute kidnapping”.
Wahidha claimed that Muthukumaran knew about her previous marriage, her five-year-old son and the emotional difficulties she had been experiencing after an earlier breakup. She said she had been distressed for approximately two months and that he initially provided emotional support.
She further alleged that their relationship subsequently became romantic and that Muthukumaran made assurances about a future marriage, including a promise to tie a thali. According to her account, he also told her that he would respect her consent before any physical intimacy took place.
Wahidha claimed that she relied on these assurances and that the two later became physically intimate. She alleged that Muthukumaran dropped her home in the early hours of the following morning and subsequently sent her messages before telling her that he could not continue the relationship.
She said the sudden change left her deeply distressed and attributed her reported suicide attempt to the circumstances surrounding the relationship.
Following the video’s circulation, social media users also made claims about deleted Instagram posts, removed comments and accounts being blocked. These additional claims have not been independently verified.
