Bharat Jodo Yatra resumes after a break
Congress’s Bharat Jodo Yatra entered its 17th day as Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday resumed the yatra from Perambra after a day’s rest.
The march resumed around 6.30 am and he was joined by hundreds of party workers in the march. The morning leg of the march will conclude at Amballur junction after covering 12 km.
The yatra will again resume from Talore Bypass junction at 5 pm to reach the south gate of Thissur Vadakkumnathan temple.
“Workers and people of Thrissur come out in large numbers to support Shri @RahulGandhi and all the Padyatris as #BharatJodoYatra resumes after a much deserved break,” Congress said in a tweet.
