‘Bad Girl’ sets OTT premiere for 4 November
The coming-of-age drama Bad Girl is all set for its digital debut, with the film confirming its OTT release on November 4.
The movie, which made waves on the international film festival circuit, will stream exclusively on JioHotstar.
Bad Girl is the directorial debut of Varsha Bharath, who previously assisted director Vetrimaaran.
The film, which explores the life and self-discovery of a young woman named Ramya, has been lauded for its bold and realistic portrayal of a middle-class girl navigating societal expectations, family pressures, and her own journey of love and independence.
The movie stars Anjali Sivaraman in the lead role, whose performance has been highly praised. Noted filmmakers Vetrimaaran and Anurag Kashyap jointly produced the project.
The film had a theatrical release earlier on September 5, 2025, and its highly-anticipated arrival on OTT promises to bring this progressive narrative to a much wider audience.
