Arun Vijay reveals second character’s name in Retta Thala as Kali
Actor Arun Vijay has revealed that the second character he plays in his upcoming film, Retta Thala, is named Kali.
The film, an intense action thriller directed by Kris Thirukumaran, will feature Arun Vijay in a dual role.
The recent teaser for the film, unveiled by actor Sivakarthikeyan, gave a glimpse of the two characters, but only one of them, Malpe Upendra, was named at the time.
Arun Vijay described “Retta Thala” as a gripping action thriller that explores what happens when the “shades of grey in all individuals start to show simultaneously.”
He also shared that playing the physically demanding roles was challenging, especially as he was still recovering from a serious ACL tear he sustained while working on his previous film, Vanangaan.
The director, Kris Thirukumaran, was reportedly very accommodating, giving Arun Vijay time to heal and train by shooting the talkie portions first.
The film’s cast also includes Siddhi Idnani, Tanya Ravichandran, Yogi Samy, John Vijay, Hareesh Peradi, and Balaji Murugadoss.
The movie is said to be high on action, with stunts choreographed by P.C.Stunts.
With the film reportedly ready for release, the makers are now looking for an appropriate time to launch it.
The teaser has already generated significant buzz among fans, and this new revelation is sure to increase the anticipation.
