Anupama Parameswaran reveals passion for painting, credits Sai Pallavi for inspiring her journey
Actress Anupama Parameswaran has offered fans a glimpse into one such personal passion. She shared a post on Instagram showcasing a collection of paintings she created during a challenging period in her life.
Posting a photograph of herself standing before a wall displaying her artwork, Anupama revealed that the paintings were made in 2021, a year she described as one of the most difficult phases she had experienced. Although the artworks were not clearly visible in the image, she opened up about how painting became an important creative outlet for her.
The actress credited fellow actor Sai Pallavi for helping her discover and develop her interest in painting. According to Anupama, a conversation with Sai Pallavi during a difficult time led to the unexpected beginning of her artistic journey. She shared that Sai Pallavi encouraged her by lending her watercolours, a gesture that inspired her to explore painting more seriously.
Anupama also expressed gratitude to her parents, who had her artwork framed and displayed on a wall in her studio. She described the gesture as thoughtful and heartwarming.
Responding to the post, Sai Pallavi praised Anupama’s artistic abilities and expressed happiness at seeing her talents flourish. She noted that the paintings were deeply personal and reflected Anupama’s creativity.
Reflecting on her journey, Anupama said she had always been fascinated by colours as a child but had never pursued painting seriously. She added that Sai Pallavi’s encouragement helped her discover a side of herself she had not previously explored.
Anupama Parameswaran and Sai Pallavi both rose to prominence with the 2015 Malayalam film “Premam.” Although their characters appeared in different phases of the story and did not share scenes together, the film played a significant role in establishing both actors in the industry.
