Anjali recalls unusual response to school-day proposal
Actress Anjali recently shared a light-hearted story from her school days while promoting her upcoming film Magudam.
During an interview, she spoke about receiving several proposals as a student and recalled one memorable incident involving a classmate who repeatedly expressed his feelings for her from Classes 7 to 10.
According to Anjali, the boy challenged her to tie him a rakhi if she truly wanted him to stop pursuing her. She accepted the challenge, believing the traditional gesture would end the matter.
However, the outcome was unexpected. Anjali said the classmate immediately removed the rakhi and jokingly declared that he was “not her brother” before walking away. She recalled the incident with amusement, adding that she never met him again after that day.
