Director Nanda Periyasamy’s Anandham Vilayadum Veedu is all set for the worldwide theatrical release on December 24, 2021. The director looks happy with the final output of the movie and feels positive about the success.
Director Nanda Periyasamy says, “If not for the support of producer Ranganathan sir, this film would have just remained as a screenplay format in papers. When I initially approached him and narrated to him a small gist of what the film is all about, he instantly agreed to produce it. This is possible only with someone, who knows the value and emotions of a joint family system. Although family stories win the hearts of universal audiences, many producers have restricted themselves from investing in these projects. More likely, many producers love to get on with safe bets, thereby making movies that hold controversial and dark themes. Nonetheless, P Ranganathan is an exception as he completely believed in this script. After watching the final output, he appreciated my work, but the fact is that he is the man behind this magic.” Speaking about the process of finalizing the actors for the film, Nanda Periyasamy says, “I wanted a star-cast that resembles Tamil nativity, and I almost share a wonderful bonding with all the actors in this film. Gautham Karthik is a charming and handsome actor, who can easily fit into the boy-to-next-door character. Shivathmika Rajashekar is no exception as she has a graceful Tamil girl appearance, and she has done a great job. In real life, Cheran sir has a caring nature and has always been ennobled as a sweet brother to everyone. This is one solid reason behind casting him in this role. Every character in this film will be retained in the hearts of audiences. Siddhu Kumar’s songs have adorned the emotional depth of this film.
