Amazon Prime gets OTT rights of Ponniyin Selvan for a whopping price
Director Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan is one of the most anticipated films of 2022. The first part of the two-film franchise is all geared up for a grand release on September 30.
According to reports, the digital streaming rights of Ponniyin Selvan (part 1 and 2) have been sold to Amazon Prime Video for a whopping price. The second part is expected to hit the theatres in a few months.
According to reports, the digital streaming rights of Ponniyin Selvan have been sold for a mammoth sum of Rs 125 crore.
Recently, the trailer and audio launch of Ponniyin Selvan took place at Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth attended the launch as chief guests.
