Ajith to reunite with director Saran after a long time
There have been speculations and discussions in the Tamil film industry about Ajith Kumar potentially collaborating with director Saran again for a new movie.
Ajith and Saran have a successful history, having delivered hit films like Kadhal Mannan, Amarkalam, and Attagasam. Saran has often acknowledged Ajith’s role in his career.
There are reports suggesting that if Ajith and Saran were to reunite, it might be for a project based on the story of Erumugam, a film that was shelved after a few days of shoot with Ajith in the early 2000s. Saran is said to have made some changes to this rural commercial script.
Ajith’s next confirmed film after Good Bad Ugly is AK64, to be directed by Adhik Ravichandran, with filming expected to commence in November 2025.
The talks about a Saran movie often position it as AK65, coming after his project with Adhik.
Saran recently posted a message on the 25th anniversary of Amarkalam, praising Ajith, which further fueled the rumors of a potential reunion.
