Ajith Kumar’s Dare Devil pooja likely on November 2, shooting later this month
Actor Ajith Kumar’s next film, reportedly titled Dare Devil, is generating considerable interest, with industry reports suggesting that its pooja ceremony will take place on November 2. Regular filming is expected to begin later in the month.
Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the project marks Ajith’s 64th film and his second collaboration with the filmmaker after Good Bad Ugly, which was released in 2025.
The production is reportedly being handled by Ajith’s wife, actress Shalini Ajith Kumar, under the banner of Brave Hearts Productions. Music composer Anirudh Ravichander is also expected to be associated with the film, although an official confirmation of the details is awaited.
Pre-production work is said to be under way. A report by Daily Thanthi indicates that filming could begin at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad on November 13 or November 16, following the Deepavali holidays.
Speculation surrounding the supporting cast has added to the excitement. Earlier reports suggested that Malayalam star Mohanlal and Telugu actor Venkatesh could appear in important roles.
However, more recent reports indicate that Mohanlal may not be part of the project, with Marco actor Unni Mukundan reportedly being considered for a key character. If confirmed, the film would bring Ajith and Unni Mukundan together on screen for the first time.
Actress Sreeleela has also been linked to the project, with reports suggesting she may play a significant role.
With the reported launch date approaching, fans are awaiting official announcements regarding the cast, production schedule and other details. Until the makers confirm the information, the reported casting choices and filming dates remain unverified.
