Ajith donates Rs 25 lakh to Chief Minister Relief Fund
On 11 May, Tamilnadu Chief Minister MK Stalin requested public and private organisations to donate to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMPRF) to help in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.
After the appeal, several actors and technicians from the film industry have donated money to help people in need.
The latest to join the list is actor Ajith Kumar who has made a contribution of Rs 25 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund via bank transfer.
Recently, AR Murugadoss has donated Rs 25 lakh to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Veteran actor Sivakumar, actors Karti and Suriya, met the chief minister at his office on May 12 and personally handed over the cheque of Rs 1 crore.
