‘Adangaatha Asuran’ song: Dhanush turns singer-writer for ‘Raayan’s 1st single
Actor-director Dhanush has once again demonstrated his multifaceted talent by singing and writing lyrics for the first single from his forthcoming directorial, Raayan. The song, ‘Adangaatha Asuran’, was released on Thursday, May 9.
The makers shared a note stating that this is the first collaboration between Dhanush and AR Rahman, who have together created a thrilling Tamil track with lyrics by Dhanush.
Dhanush wrote, “D50 Raayan first single Adangaadha Asuran. From the day @arrahman sir made this song, I have waited a year to share this with you all. FINALLY Here it is. In theatres June 13th onwards @sunpictures (sic).”
The song also features additional vocals from a host of artists and will be choreographed by Prabhudeva.
Raayan, Dhanush’s 50th film, was first revealed on February 19, and will release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi on June 13.
The film also stars Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, and Aparna Balamurali.
