A Patriotic Film Festival

A Patriotic Film Festival has been organised by N. F. D. C.(National Film Development Corporation) and National Film Archive of India from the 11th to the 13th of August at Tagore Central which will be inaugurated on Monday, 11th August at 11.00 am followed by the screening of S. Ram Sharma’s Shaheed (1965) at 11.30 am.

Out of the 11 films scheduled to be screened, 7 will be full length features while 4 will be documentaries.
B. R. Panthulu’s Veera Pandiya Kattabomman (1959) and Paraskthi (1952) are also in the scheduled list of films, both featuring thespian Sivaji Ganesan. Saat Hindustani (1969) is the closing film.
