316 Tamil Nadu Students Awarded Scholarships by Reliance Foundation for 2025–26

Reliance Foundation has announced the results of its Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholarship program  for 2025–26, selecting 316 students from Tamil Nadu among 5,100 scholars nationwide. The cohort includes  5,000 undergraduates and 100 postgraduates, chosen through a rigorous national selection process.

With this round, Reliance Foundation has awarded 33,471 scholarships to date, reaffirming its commitment  to supporting talented students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.

One recipient, Swetha M from Ethiraj College, Chennai, shared: “For families like mine, financial constraints  often hinder higher education. This scholarship enables me to focus on my studies and pursue my goals with
confidence.

The initiative aligns with Reliance Foundation’s pledge, announced by Mrs. Nita Ambani in 2022, to provide  50,000 scholarships over 10 years, inspired by Dhirubhai Ambani’s vision.

Undergraduate scholars will receive up to ₹2 lakh, and postgraduate scholars up to ₹6 lakh, along with  mentoring, leadership development, and access to a global alumni network. Reflecting a merit-cum-means  approach, 83% of scholars come from households earning below ₹2.5 lakh annually, with strong  representation of women and students with disabilities
