2000 all set for release, after censor board suggests 105 cuts
Censor board has made 105 cuts in a upcoming movie titled 2000.
The movie is based on the Central government’s demonetisation move which was made in 2016.
The flick is bankrolled by Pachiayappan and has Rudhran Parasu and Sarnika in the lead roles.
Star cast of the movie also includes ‘Karate’ Venkatesan, Moorthy, Birla Bose, Ranjan and Priyadarshini among others.
It is reportedly said that the censor board has earlier denied to certify the film as it had directly criticised the Central government.
For this, the team submitted the film at the revision committee headed by Gauthami.
The committee had suggested 105 cuts in the flick. However, based on the evidences and proofs submitted by the film crew, the number was cuts was reduced to 24.
Now the film is all set for its release.
