Analysis:

One of the major strenghts of the Poikkal Kuthirai directed by Santhosh P Jayakumar is its running time.

The movie has a crisp running time of less than two hours and the director does not waste any time in getting into the plot.

Prabhudeva is introduced as a regular father caring for his daughter. But slowly there is a change in his character to save his daughter.

Prabhudeva has carried this role and the various emotions with ease. Key characters are introduced now and then keeping the audience engaged.

Special mention to the roles of Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and John are etched out well. Imman’s music compliments the plot well.
