The shooting of Kattil, directed and enacted by EV Ganesh Babu, is fast nearing it’s completion. The movie stars Srushti Dange as heroine and celebrities from various walks of lives in Tamilnadu form part of the cast.
Kattil is bankrolled by Maple Leafs Productions and the movie is being shot in Malayalam titled the same (Kattil).
Since the movie portrays the culture of India, plans are on to release the movie in various other languages.
Writer Indra Soundar Rajan of Marma Desam fame plays a pivotal role in Kattil. Popular artist Shyam plays the hero’s brother in the movie. Veteran filmmaker K Balachander’s daughter-in- law Geetha Kailasam makes her debut as actress with Kattil.
B Lenin takes care of story, screenplay, dialogues and editing. WideAngle Ravishankar is the cinematographer. Metro Oli Shanthi is the choreographer.
