The Chennai District Masters Athletic Association has conducted the Chennai District Masters Athletic Meet today at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (Chennai) from 6.30am to 5.30pm.
This meet is for all men and women from the age of 35 Years to 100+ Years.
The Chennai District Masters Athletic Association President Mr. M. Shenbagamoorthi, Mrs. T. Rukmini Devi (Secretary), Mrs. Sasikala (Tresurer) invited the athletes and honoured the Cheif Guests.

Film Celebrities – Actors Arya, SJ Suriya, Athulya Ravi, Directors KR, Prabhu Solomon, Magizh Thirumeni, Ilavarasu have graced this event with their presence and honoured the winners with medals.
They honoured senior Asian achievers Nambiseshan and Mana Anandvel. Also they honoured Kanchana.B for her Universal Book of Records and Rajeswari.E for her sports and Service Activities
Chennai District Masters Athletic Meet is conducted all the events in both A and B Ground for all age groups.
The winners of the District Meet will be selected for the State Meet.The winners at the State meet will be selected for the National Meet and the National medalists will be selected to participate in the Asian and World meet.
The Asian meet will be held at Kuching, Malaysia in December 2019 and the World meet will be held at Canada in 2020.
