Globalart India’s 13th National Competition ‘KOLOR CHAMP 2019’witnessed participation from almost 1200 children belonging to 7 states across India. Children in the age group of 5-15 years showcased their creativity through their art at the 13th National Competition of Globalart India, which was inaugurated by Mrs. Bhavani Bhaskar, Principal – PSBB millennium school, Gerugambakkam Chennai and Ms. Thejomaye Menon – Renowned Artist. Mr. Ajin Thong, Chief Operating Officer of Globalart & Creative Malaysia and Mr. Dinesh Victor, Founder & MD, SIP Academy India participated. In the afternoon we had Ms. Aishwarya Manivannan – Founder – Maisha Studio. Artist. Designer. Educator. International Silambam Champion who came in to appreciate the creative work done by Globalart students.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Bhavani Bhaskar, Principal – PSBB millennium school, Gerugambakkam Chennai said: “It is very encouraging to see such huge participation at such young ages in a national competition to showcase creativity. She also emphasized on children to be more creative to make India better.
Ms. Thejomaye Menon – Renowned Artist. She said: All creative people are young at heart. Fostering creativity in our children today, they would be able to handle challenges in life. This programme which enhances the creativity in children builds the foundation for diverse career options.
Mr. Dinesh Victor, Managing Director, SIP Academy India [of which Globalart India is a unit] stated that greater participation was being witnessed year after year. “Creativity is a critical tool for success in today’s world. And the Globalart programme which nurtures children’s creativity using drawing and colouring (which most children love) has been very well received by both the children as well as their parents. With creativity honed in the early stages of life, these children who are the citizens of tomorrow will be better equipped to find innovative solutions to various complex issues in a highly competitive world.” said Mr. Victor. He also added that “Many of our earlier students especially those who are today successfully pursuing new age careers in interior design, architecture, graphic design and fashion design attribute their success to Globalart.”
Mr. Ajin Thong, Chief Operating Officer of Globalart & Creative Malaysia said that that the “Given the right platform to develop their creative skills – our students will be far better prepared to innovate and handle challenges in every sphere of life and emerge as thought leaders of tomorrow. Our role in this endeavour is hence very satisfying.” said Mr. Thong.
