Koorman movie review

Story:

Rajaji is an ex-police officer who is a gifted mentalist capable of reading others` minds just by looking at their face.

He helps the police department in solving uncracked cases by entering into the culprit`s inner mind by breaking their emotions.

One of the culprit who visits his place goes missing. Things take a different course after this.

What happens next, what is the backstory of the criminal. Why did he escape forms the rest of the story.

Analysis:

Directed by Bryan B George, Koorman is a decent thriller with its heart in the right place.

The movie has a strong social message. With a short runtime, the movie keeps the audience engaged through out.

If the screenplay had been a tad better, the movie would have been a lot better.

Rajaji is effective as the mentalist and shows variety in his actions and emotions.

Janani Iyer as the female lead does not have much scope but shines in the limited screenspace that she gets. Bala Saravanan is as usual impressive as the hero’s friend.

Shakthi Arvind’s camerawork is good, music by Tony Britton is gripping.

Rating: 3.2/5
