ISKCON Chennai is pleased to announce the launch edition of “Bhajan Clubbing,” a high-energy spiritual event specially designed for youth, students, professionals, and newcomers, on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marriage Hall, ISKCON Chennai Temple.
Expected to attract around 700 participants, Bhajan Clubbing presents spirituality in a format today’s youth naturally connect with: music, energy, and community. More than just an event, it is envisioned as a youth movement. More than just kirtan, it is a reimagined spiritual experience. More than just fun, it offers a meaningful and uplifting alternative to nightlife culture and unhealthy coping habits.
Bhajan Clubbing is a high-energy, immersive kirtan experience that combines live devotional music with both Western and traditional instruments, including guitar, bass, violin, flute, mridangam, kartal, and pads. The event also features concert-like sound systems, LED visuals, and disco-style lighting while retaining the authentic chanting of the holy names.
It delivers the energy of a concert while preserving the purity of devotional chanting.
Event highlights include:
• Multiple 30-minute high-energy kirtan segments
• Call-and-response chanting
• Dance-friendly devotional participation
• Visually engaging lighting, LED, and sound setup
• Community participation rather than passive attendance
• Prasadam dinner included for all participants
Age : 16 to 30 Years
This launch edition is one of the first youth-focused Bhajan Clubbing programs in Chennai at this scale. With a nominal ticket price of just Rs. 50, the event has been designed to remain highly accessible, especially for first-time spiritual seekers.
Speaking about the event, the organizers said:
“Bhajan Clubbing is our attempt to show that spirituality is not boring or distant—it’s vibrant, joyful, and deeply fulfilling. We want young people to experience a genuine connection with the superior force in a way they naturally enjoy—through music, energy, and community.”
A young participant shared:
“I’ve heard about Bhajan Clubbing and even saw it being discussed nationally, but never managed to find one in Chennai. With ISKCON Chennai launching this, I’m genuinely excited. It feels like something fresh, meaningful, and fun at the same time.”
The initiative is being organized with the blessings and guidance of HH Bhanu Swami Maharaj. It aims to promote mental well-being, cultural roots, and spiritual joy by offering a pure, substance-free high that is guilt-free and more satisfying.
This is the launch edition, and based on the response, ISKCON Chennai plans to organize Bhajan Clubbing as a recurring event once every three months or so, with the vision of building a happier and more meaningful youth force in Chennai.
