Dhanush calls Karthik Subbaraj-Keerthy Suresh’s Dorothy a masterpiece
Actor Dhanush has praised director Karthik Subbaraj’s upcoming film Dorothy ahead of its release.
The film recently had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and features music by veteran composer Ilaiyaraaja.
In a social media post, Dhanush described the film as bold, intense and emotionally powerful. He also praised the performances and highlighted Ilaiyaraaja’s background score.
Dhanush and Karthik Subbaraj previously worked together on Jagame Thandhiram.
Dorothy stars Keerthy Suresh in the titular role, with Sananth and Rishikanth also playing prominent parts. The supporting cast includes Ramachandran Durairaj, Gajaraj, Muthukumar and Jeeva Subramanian.
Karthik Subbaraj is producing the film through Dhammam Films. Guneet Monga and Aachin Jain are producing under Sikhya Entertainment, while Jyoti Deshpande is associated with the production through Jio Studios. The film is scheduled for release following its international festival premiere.
