Airports authority of India, Kalyanmayee & India Turns Pink Launch Pinktober 2025 Teaser at Chennai Airport

The Airports Authority of India (AAI), Kalyanmayee, and India Turns Pink (ITP) jointly unveiled the teaser poster for Pinktober 2025 at Chennai International Airport, marking the beginning of a special year for the nation’s largest women’s wellness movement.

The launch was graced by distinguished dignitaries including Mr. C.V. Deepak, Airport Director and Mr. Ananda Kumar, Founder-President of India Turns Pink, along with Mrs. Mahathi, Secretary of Kalyanmayee; Mrs. Malathi; Mrs. Vasumathi; Mr. Vinu Hasan, Vice President – ITP; Dr. Amudha, Director Outreach – ITP; Mr. Humesh, Airport Project Head – ITP; Mr. Annamalai, Secretary IT – ITP; Ms. Sandhiya, Ms. Vishali, Ms. Christy, Mrs. Jaya, Ms. Aarthi (Project Coordinators – ITP); Ms. Devi (Project Associate – ITP); and Ms. Jenita & Ms. Shanuja (Project Associates – ITP).

As ITP steps into its 10th year of Pinktober, this milestone is celebrated with the launch of a new nationwide initiative — “ITP 10 Million Moms”. Through this campaign, ITP aims to reach 10 million households across India to spread awareness on the early detection of breast cancer.

The unique concept encourages everyone — women and men alike — to take a selfie with their mother and upload it on the official ITP website or tag ITP’s social media pages. This symbolic gesture represents love, awareness, and the fight against breast cancer.

Speaking on the occasion, the Director of Chennai Airport expressed pride in hosting this special launch and reaffirmed the airport’s commitment to women’s wellness initiatives.

Pinktober 2025 promises to be a month-long movement of hope, awareness, and action, uniting the nation in pink.
