Yashoda movie review
Story:
Samantha is a middle class girl who accepts to become pregnant through surrogacy as she is in need of money.
She signs an agreement with a big company and goes to a mysterious building in order to stay there right from getting pregnant to delivering a child.
She experiences some unique situations there. Women who are ready to deliver the babies go missing one after the other.
Samantha realises that there is something wrong going on. What is it and what happens next forms the rest of the story.
Analysis:
Director duo Hari and Harish have selected a very unique plot and narrated in on an interesting note. They have delivered the story in an convincing manner.
Samantha has pulled off the character of Yashoda in a convincing manner.
She has carried the entire film on her shoulder. She is very impressive in the stunt sequences and as usual shines in the emotional portions as well. Varalakshmi Sarathkumar is impressive as the antagonist.
Unni Mukundan has done his part well. Rest of the cast including Sampath, Shatru, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada and others have done their part well.
Mani Sharma’s BGM is a big aasset to the movie. Sukumar’s cinematography is top notch.
